A glimpse at the Festival
Tune It Down Turn It Up is a Music Showcase in Kelowna, BC consisting of artists and musicians mainly from the BC interior.  The focus is on Psychedelic Rock and the 'Desert Sound' created by bands such as Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age and captured at recording studios like the legendary Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California. You can expect vendors, visual artists, and incredible stage shows with mesmerizing lighting and sonic waves giving homage to the legendary Desert sessions.

Patrick 'Hutch' Hutchinson

Patrick ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson Is known for his time as a member of Queens of the Stone Age in addition to being one of the top foragers of sonic soundscapes through his live audio engineering career. He’s worked with countless A-list bands such as and Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal, And Them Crooked Vultures to name a few.

Dave Catching

Dave Catching has been involved with TDTU for the last number of years, collaborating with us to help bring this vision to life. Alongside Josh Homme, Dave has helped to bring the desert rock genre to life during his time as a musician. You may know him from his time performing with Queens of the Stone Age and being the second half of Eagles of Death Metal. In addition he has collaborated with bands like the Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and many others in the studio!
